Yoga Foundations Workshop - building confidence from the ground up. Learn the fundamentals of yoga in a supportive studio space. Everyone is welcome - all levels, including beginners. 

This two-part 90 min workshop series introduces foundational yoga sequences and postures, common breath work, yoga philosophy, and yoga studio etiquette. It is designed to help you feel comfortable in a yoga studio environment and confident adding a yoga practice into your life. Part 1 (first week) - will focus on learning the Sun Salutation sequence, while Part 2 (second week) - will be about practicing Sun Salutations, getting acclimated to following teacher cues, and building muscle memory. With this learning progression under your belt, you will be able to walk into yoga classes anywhere with a sense of self-assuredness.

Although this class is designed to support beginners, it is perfect for all levels of practitioners who are looking to fine-tune their yoga asana groundwork or simply enjoy an uncomplicated practice. Excellent for beginners, appropriate for all. Don't have a yoga mat yet? No problem! We've got you covered for class and can offer recommendations for finding the right mat for you. Students should dress comfortably, be prepared for thoughtful movement, and be able to come from seated or reclined position to standing independently.

What to Bring/Wear: comfortable, stretchy, layered clothing, yoga mat, towel, water, journal for notes and any props needed for comfort (available at TW). Hydration advised!
