Unconscious Bias: How it affects our interactions with others, and how to overcome it.
Presented by Dr. Emmanuel Ngomsi, All World Languages & Cultures, Inc.
Dr. Ngomsi specializes in teaching about world cultures and in promoting respect for equity, diversity and inclusion. He spent nine years as instructor, Chief Language and Cross-Culture Coordinator for the United States Peace Corps – Africa Region.
Dr. Ngomsi is certified by the Missouri Department of Public Safety as Provider of Cultural Competency and Racial Profiling for Law Enforcement. He developed and teaches 10 different courses at the Kansas City Regional Police Academy and to various agencies across the Nation. His other clients include corporations, federal and state governments, and many others.
Emmanuel was honored as the 2011 Outstanding Citizen of the Year for the City of Lee’s Summit, MO, and received the 2011 Civic Leadership Award by the Missouri Municipal League. He is a proud member of the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce.
