Legislative Affairs Task Force
Ann Holliday, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, with the Downtown Council Kansas City. In 2020 the Downtown Council, Civic Council, City of Kansas City, Missouri, and the Downtown community initiated a strategic planning process resulting in the Imagine Downtown KC 2030 Strategic Plan. Ann will provide an update on the implementation of the plan, its catalytic projects and transformative strategies. Ann will also provide information about the proposed South Loop Project which is a sustainable park over I-670 linking adjacent community, and a collaborative effort between Port KC, the Downtown Council and City of Kansas City.

- Study local, state and federal legislative issues of interest to businesses
- Encourage information sharing about business and community issues among the membership.
- Stay alert to issues that will affect our members and the business community and make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding such issues.
